The Dem establishment repeatedly uses the same smears against leftists (UK Blairites used the *same scheme* against Corbyn: BernieBros, misogyny, online toxicity, etc.).

These are power-based tactics, not principles, and anyone on the left who ratifies them is dumb & gullible:
The #KHive is by far the most vicious, disgusting, hate-driven & bigoted online faction I've seen. Anyone targeted by them knows this.

But journalists who droned on & on about BernieBros will never make an issue of it or demand Kamala renounce it. How much clearer can it be???

Many liberals love the *idea* of "the working class" & "rehabilitation" the way kids love plastic dolls.

But they harbor contempt & disgust for actual working-class people & especially their culture.

And they believe in rehabilitation only for rich & powerful Dems (eg Biden).
Many things are easy to defend on the theoretical level, when they theory in question is popular in prestigious liberal circles. It becomes much harder, and more distasteful, to defend it when it comes to actual humans:
