Okay so I've shared some tips on how to fade dark spots caused by pimples before, but most people weren't even aware because I didn't direct the tips to that area of concern. So I'm doing it again and I want you to help me share this if it crosses your TL. #skinherball
To effectively fade off spots caused by pimples, it would be wise if you first of all create a routine for yourself. Something you gon be doing morning and evening to your skin to improve it's quality. This will help you.
So straight to the spots removal;

• vitamin c serum as recommended in the routine tweet up there, is one step towards fading those spots quickly. Vitamin c is a depigmenting agent that hinders melanin production in those areas. This eventually evens your skin tone
Include vitamin c serum in your routine. Don't ask me for brand recommendations. I can't be specific with a brand which finding in the market is uncertain. Brands like Dr rashel or Naturals is alright though.
Use the serum morning and night and see changes from 2 weeks of use.
• Retinoids/Retinol/Retin-A/Tretinoin, which ever name they come with are topical products that are very effective in fighting acne(inflammatory especially) alongside clearing acne spots too.

Tretinoin medications may come as gels, creams, or lotions.
They should be applied only at night as it increases sunburns if used during the day.

- Don't use if you're pregnant/breastfeeding.
- have Eczema.
- are taking photosynthesizing drugs (such as thiazides, tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, phenothiazines, sulfonamides, and others)
Also a mixture of tranexamic acid + kojic acid + alpha arbutin + Niacinamide + Azelaic acid will fade hyperpigmentation faster too. This acids work too, but having a mixture of them gives a stronger remedy.

finding a brand that has them all in one is hectic though 😬
Then the product that seals it all is sunscreen, the reason is because, those spots were a result of sun exposure. If you want them to go, you have to take them away from the sun's rays. But we can't basically do that, we've to go under the sun and hustle.
So we wear sunscreen. Sunscreen is so important, that you can't possibly have an even skin tone if you don't have a sunscreen application history.

Most brands that have been found okay on the Nigerian skin are from gavia, Neutrogena, skin doctor, etc.
Apply everyday, whether it's raining, cloudy or sunny or you're indoors all day. I mean day and not night.

At least, apply twice a day on your face.

If you do all of this, you will naturally glow, even your skin tone, prevent skin cancer, slow down irritation, etc.
Please take note that skin's are different. These tips work for every skin but how quick to see results will differ. When it comes to skincare, it should be part of your existence and not just something occasional. So be patient and consistent.
Now I think that's some valuable information up there, and you wouldn't want to consume this alone. Share to your TL because almost every Nigerian has dark spots from our merciless sun exposure. Thank you.

What's stretch marks to you?
Does it look sexy or it's irritating?

Well, to most people it's fascinating and to others it's a plague that needs to be taken away asap. See what causes it and the best remedy. #skinherball

Please RT if this crosses your TL
Well, according to dermatologists, stretch marks are lines(thin/fat) on your skin that shows up on your breasts, stomach, hips, shoulders, butt, thighs, etc. They actually don't have any effect on your health.

And even though they'll never really go away, they might fade off
Over time with the help of some certain procedures and products.

Stretch marks occurs when your body grows rapidly, and your skin can't keep up with the stretch. Collagen is a protein that makes your skin more elastic, and if it's lacking or in low quantities in your skin,

About the Rice water thing, it can be used to cleanse your skin to lighten dark spots and hyper pigmentation. It's my own experiment, and since the first time I shared it, a lot of positive reviews have flown in — I know you have seen most.

[So please re-tweet so others can see]
You can make rice water by soaking rice in water. let it soak for at least 4hrs before pressing the rice and straining it through the sieve. Finally, refrigerate the rice water.

Your rice can be cooked and eaten if you wish. So don't be sacred of losing that life saving grain.
Put a small amount of rice water on a cotton ball and gently smooth over your face and neck as a toner. To clean with it, massage it into your skin. Rinse if desired. then be sure to Moisturize and apply sunscreen during the day.

Your skin barrier can be badly damaged with signs of ACNES,
-REDNESS.
-VERY TIGHT SKIN.
-IRRITATIONS.
-YOUR SKIN LOOSES WATER QUICKLY, MAKING IT DEHYDRATED, called TRANSEPIDERMAL WATER LOSS.

All of these are signs that your SKIN BARRIER IS DAMAGED.

Pls RT for someone
Your skin barrier is the top layer of your skin cells and are glued together by lipids. And honestly, if your skin barrier is damaged, everything you apply to treat your skin issues will only result in more disturbing issues. I'm pretty sure you don't like this.
And there are lots of things that damage your barrier;

Over Exfoliation.
Over washing.
Stress and hormonal changes.
Using too much of a product.
Air pollution.
Genetics.
Ageing.

From this list, virtually everyone's barrier is damaged and I think it's time to repair them.

If you are struggling with recurrent FUNGAL ACNE, this picture right here is FUNGAL ACNE, and it appears on your chest and back too.

See the perfect way to get rid of these breakouts: #skinherball

{Don't scroll without re-tweeting please}
Well, for your information, fungal acne isn't really acne. It's a scam.
And the biggest mistake you can make treating fungal acne the way you will treat normal acne. Now let me explain:

Regular acnes are caused by bacteria's and they vary in sizes, followed by blackheads
On some part of your skin and whiteheads as well. Well, for fungal acne, it's caused by a fungus which inflames the hair follicles on your skin and results to equal sizes of pimplelike bumps. This is technically referred to as malassezia folliculitis.

These fungi feeds on your

Listen closely, this was one of my experiments with facial steaming.

I did it with orange peels. This facial steaming can assist in treating ACNES.

See how: #skinherball

[Don't scroll without re-tweeting please] Image
Orange peels contain more vitamin c than orange juice itself, that way, it works as an astringent which makes your skin glow.

It can also Exfoliate your skin if you scrub your face with it.

Facial steaming will open your clogged pores, create a path way for
The vitamin c in the peels to infuse into your skin, helping to fight the bacteria's that cause pimples.

Note that: a facial steam with orange peels will not necessarily clear pimples alone.
