The #HMH @DrEOEhanire at the #PTFCOVID19 media briefing today stated that our ministry will be distributing oxygen concentrators & ventilators to various health institutions so that they can provide oxygen therapy to persons presenting with respiratory distress.
"I therefore renew my plea to all those who test positive & are 60 years or older who have underlying health conditions to report immediately to a treatment facility.

There is no shortage of beds reported from any of the states" @DrEOEhanire.
The #HMH @DrEOEhanire urged persons cleared for performing self-isolation to report to a treatment center without delay if they notice #COVID19 symptoms like high fever, persistent cough, loss of sense of taste or smell & breathlessness.
"It is important to remind ourselves that #COVID19 is real and spreading widely in some parts of the world as we speak".@DrEOEhanire
"This is a clear pointer to how important it is for all of us to take responsibility for ourselves as individuals, for our families & communities.

Know therefore that when you obey non pharmaceutical recommendations you protect yourself and others". @DrEOEhanire

This month of August marks the six-year remembrance of late Dr. #AmeyoAdadevoh & Nurse #JustinaEjelonu, 2 brave health workers who came in contact with the #Nigeria's #Ebola index case in 2014 while carrying out their duties.
We express our condolence to the families of Dr. #AmeyoAdadevoh & Nurse #JustinaEjelonu.

As result of their extraordinary and spectacular bravery, the spread of #Ebola was contained and so many lives were saved.
We shall never forget the bravery of our frontline workers, health workers who were also our brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, parents, colleagues & friends. @NCDCgov @AfricaCDC @Nursingworld_Ng @Nigeria_NMC @ICNurses @nannm_nigeria @WHONigeria
