The #HMH@DrEOEhanire at the #PTFCOVID19 media briefing today stated that our ministry will be distributing oxygen concentrators & ventilators to various health institutions so that they can provide oxygen therapy to persons presenting with respiratory distress.
"I therefore renew my plea to all those who test positive & are 60 years or older who have underlying health conditions to report immediately to a treatment facility.
There is no shortage of beds reported from any of the states" @DrEOEhanire.
The #HMH@DrEOEhanire urged persons cleared for performing self-isolation to report to a treatment center without delay if they notice #COVID19 symptoms like high fever, persistent cough, loss of sense of taste or smell & breathlessness.
"It is important to remind ourselves that #COVID19 is real and spreading widely in some parts of the world as we speak".@DrEOEhanire
"This is a clear pointer to how important it is for all of us to take responsibility for ourselves as individuals, for our families & communities.
Know therefore that when you obey non pharmaceutical recommendations you protect yourself and others". @DrEOEhanire
