Report on specific struggles for justice, specific hurdles faced by survivors, victims' families. Also, always show the larger picture to push for systemic change. Change the mindset that denies caste based atrocities.
"Why mention caste of victim in a case of rape" - common question. 1) If the woman was raped BECAUSE she is Dalit, as Bhanwari Devi (see next tweet for deets) was, her caste matters. 2) A Dalit woman has greater difficulty accessing justice in the system (Bhanwari case for eg)
Bhanwari Devi, a Dalit saathin educating communities against child marriage in Rajasthan, was gang raped by upper caste men as her husband Mohan was forced to watch. Court said it didn't happen coz upper caste men wouldn't touch a Dalit woman.

The court also shamed Mohan ji, her husband, saying would any man stand by and watch his wife raped? He must be lying. Bhanwari and her husband faced ostracisation for pursuing the case (no justice yet). Mohan ji, who stood by her through thick & thin, passed away yesterday
