Been following the @makerpad #t30 #nocode challenge and all of the entries are amazing.

Shipping something in a month is something to be really proud of.

Share a Coffee Learnings #buildinpublic

2 weeks ago I decided to start a daily newsletter that featured a creator each day and bought them a coffee.

After 10 issues and over $100 in coffees, here are a few takeaways as a totally new newsletter writer.

👇
1) Automate as much as possible

I had very little automated to start. Shipping daily took way more time than I anticipated.

Personal outreach to creators and editing bios is where I add value so I do that manually. Everything else is ruthlessly automated.
2) Have a North Star

I've had 12 people unsubscribe and subscriber growth WoW is flat which is frustrating.

Then I reminded myself about why I started this and brush the frustration off because it is putting smiles on creator's faces and showcasing their work (My North Star)

I've joined the #14DayProduct challenge from @gumroad and I'll be sharing my progress #buildinpublic

Day #1 Find a Product Idea

The product I'm building for this is a collection of workflow automations (think Integromat and Zapier)

Details 👇
@gumroad 1) Why

Automation is something I have a lot of expertise in. It's what I gravitated towards when I first got into no-code. My background as an API dev also helps.

I have some credibility in it as an Integromat Partner and through helping numerous clients and no-code makers.
@gumroad 2) Why (Cont'd)

For the longest time, I've struggled to ship my side projects.

This challenge forces me to ship something but also level up my writing and marketing which are my weak spots.

Plus, I've always performed better with a bit of time crunch.
