As the coronavirus pandemic stretches on, Americans are increasingly pessimistic about resuming “normal” life. Nearly half (47%) believe we’re 6+ months away from returning to pre-COVID-19 status.

Far more Americans think Biden won the 1st presidential debate (41%) than think Trump won (28%)

By ten points (48%-38%), Americans think Trump’s presidency has been worse than expected

Over a third (34%) of Black Americans know someone who has died from coronavirus (vs. 16% overall).

If a coronavirus vaccine becomes available, 33% of Americans currently do not plan to take it, and 33% are unsure.

Despite [[waves hands]] everything happening, Americans report almost no change in how they plan to vote in the presidential election. Only 4% say that they have recently reconsidered their choice, and just 5% are unsure.

Re: the outcome of the presidential election, Democrats are definitely not complacent:
Republicans are far more confident about a Trump win (85%) than Democrats are about a Biden win (75%).

Fox News viewership also affects peoples’ faith in other news outlets; while 58% of Americans believe @nytimes' recent reporting on Trump’s federal income taxes, just 9% of faithful Fox watchers believe it.

I became a student of anger a long time ago.
It's something I used to not let myself feel. I had a million excuses.

It's a waste of time and energy

Your life is actually really good, what do you actually have to be angry about

You have no right to be mad about that

These are lies.
Anger, like anything else you feel, is an emotion. You have a right to your emotions.
What you don't have is an excuse or a right to intentionally hurt someone because of those emotions.

And like any other emotion you feel, you need to deal with it. Process it. Denying doesn't make it go away.

This is especially true of anger.

It's a perfectly fine ad. Gillette is trying to make cash money off of the goodwill surrounding the concept of men not being assholes in this day and age. That's their job, and I'm not mad at them for it.
