So I finally watched that Gillette ad. After all the uproar, I was basically expecting a man to be castrated on-screen with one of the company's own razors
It's a perfectly fine ad. Gillette is trying to make cash money off of the goodwill surrounding the concept of men not being assholes in this day and age. That's their job, and I'm not mad at them for it.
If being admonished by a corporation to not be an asshole unsettles you so deeply, I just don't know what to tell you.
