We are declining in case counts right now, but at a slower rate than what happened back in late July.
What's that mean? We still have an elevated level of cases.

No, not at a rate that's gonna swamp our hospitals anytime soon, but elevated nonetheless.

Bottom line...
cases continue to decline, but at a slower rate than what we saw over the summer
hospitalizations are nearing the number we saw in July. If we bust past that number this week, look for nervousness to inch up even more.

As always... no... this is not the end of the world
hospitals can still easily handle what they have right now
and positivity remains reasonably low. So that's good
BUT... watch the numbers.
