The steep declines we've seen in the past with "waves" have yet to materialize this time (note red circles)
Essentially, we're staying at an elevated level of cases. Ideally this would go down soon.

While, technically, that will be true... it would be journalistic malpractice to say it without the context of what's taking place with testing.
