The far right did try to claim the march was violent however. Tyson Hunt posted a video that he thought was of an anti-racist marcher being arrested. In fact it was the leader of the Central Alberta chapter of the Soldiers of Odin. 5/11
Keean Bexte also claimed that weapons were present; his evidence was a handle to a protest sign and "mysterious" clear liquid in spray bottles which turned out to be disinfectant due to COVID protocols. 6/11
The claim that there were weapons made its way to a Wexit Facebook group. 7/11
