So my earliest memory of this , i was say 4/5 years old ? Idk. Maybe earlier. Apparently I used to talk ALOT and I had all sorts of opinions and questions. I was also pretty sharp for a kid. So my mam’omncane said to me “Ah Ama , I think you should be a lawyer “
I didn’t know what a lawyer was. But BOY did she sell me dreams . She made it sound so cool and amazing. & the most important part was that she made me believe @ that small age that I , Mina , uAmanda Sihle Ndlovu , I could it 🙏🏾
Now , obviously being the adventurous soul that I am - I changed my mind - ALOT . Wanted to do journalism, air hostess , screenplay writer , etc on and off. But somehow I’d always go back to the law
By the time I was mid high school. Say form 3 . I was absolutely certain. I wanted to study law . It became intentional. I actively pursued it . On this day the amazing @TembekaNgcukai1 handed me a Deans list certificate for academic merit and boy did I feel FRESH 🔥
After graduating I came back home to Bulawayo so that I could work on being registered as a legal practitioner. Registration simply means you have the right of appearance in the Courts. For me , that was the dream and I was not willing to compromise that . No
I went through the process of converting my SA LLB while working in private practice. I now have right of appearance in all courts. I was arguing in the Supreme Court for the first time
My current career goal is to be an advocate. To me advocacy is a skill that requires a consistent commitment to perfecting the trade . It’s like wanting to be the greatest at a sport - you must be prepared to work , to push , to practice , to train. Everyday I’m learning 🙏🏾
So back to the theme of content creation. To me,my career path is the most important. Why I chose YouTube instead of blogging or a podcast was the understanding that I need to constantly find ways to improve my speech , my persuasion, my confidence. It’s a deliberate challenge
Fun fact , I also did a Bachelor or arts degree by the by so I’m not only trained in law. I have a degree in political studies and international relations and a degree in English literature ( I love to read) .

Sharing your content with the world can be very scary, this is because the content that we create is to some extent a piece of ourselves. In this thread, I’m going to give you guys some tips on how you can gain the confidence to share your content.
First tip! Don’t be scared of criticism, instead embrace it!
Sometimes we are so scared of what people will think or say about our content. This fear can be so intense that it can stop from posting content because we seek validation and approval from people on the social media.
Whatever negative feedback you may get from people, it’s up to you to decide how you will let it affect yourself. You can either cry about the whole day(not recommended😂) or you can use that criticism to build you. USE THAT CRITICISM TO YOUR ADVANTAGE.
I only have 24 hours so this is likely to be my goodnight thread (also i'm tired now ). Please feel free to ask me any questions at this stage while I round up . I'd like to share some reflections that bring together all the different projects i twote (shh allow)
BUT FIRST , have you subscribed to "Amanda and Banele" , it's honestly really interesting . I promise
