After seeing lots of struggles with @Ledger and #DeFi apps in @zapper_fi Discord, I've been playing with Ledger nonstop in DeFi apps to see if I can find common hang-ups.
I use Chrome+Ledger imported into @metamask_io and I have good news: it's working very well.

1/ Make sure you have Ledger Live downloaded to update your firmware. All my Ledgers are updated and I found that as long as they were updated, my experience using DeFi was flawless. support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/artic…
2/ Quick reminder: all you need is the Ethereum app installed to use any DeFi app on Ethereum and store any Ethereum-powered token. support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/artic…
3/ In Settings for the Ethereum app, make sure Contract Data = Allowed. That will allow you to work with DeFi apps.
Then, be sure Debug Data = NOT Displayed, or else each MetaMask Confirmation will take you 50 clicks to confirm vs maybe 5-10 clicks. support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/artic…

4/ Make sure your Ledger has the Ethereum app open and says Application is Ready before confirming a @metamask_io transaction.
Mine often works regardless but avoid issues of missing signing the transaction by ensuring the Ethereum app is ready after hitting Confirm in MM.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about and storing most tokens on MM, you're one phishing attack away from losing it all. Get a HW wallet or adopt a multisig mobile wallet like @argentHQ!
