You heard it from the VP: our grassroots community of donors helped us raise $383 million in September — a record. I’m proud of what you’ve been able to build, but there’s still more work to do. Here's some other things I’m proud of under the hood: (1/?)

Our success has been driven by our grassroots supporters. $203 million came from online donors. We had 1.1 million new donors last month — bringing the total to 5.5 million donors throughout this campaign. And as a result, we have $432 million in the bank. (2/?)
Millions of Americans, like Trimicka from the video, chose to donate $5, $10 to be part of this campaign — because they believe in unity over division, truth over lies, hope over fear, and love over hate. (3/?)
Now: Early voting is already underway in many states. Millions of voters have already cast their ballots. But there is still a long way to go in this campaign, and we think this race is far closer than folks on this website think. Like a lot closer. (4/?)
The next few weeks are going to be hard. I tell our team every week that “we can do hard things.” I want to tell you about where your money is going, what we’re seeing on the ground, and what “hard things” need to be done to win this election in the next couple of weeks. (5/?)
That’s why I’d like you to join me Friday for our Grassroots Summit. I’ll have some special guests to talk about the polls, what we’re seeing on the ground, and how we’ll be putting your generous grassroots donations to work. Talk to you then! ♥️ (6/6) go.joebiden.com/Oct-Grassroots…

Lots of talk about big numbers around our fundraising, but I want to talk about some key numbers under the hood (1/however!)
First, the majority of this raise is digital, which means grassroots supporters just like you. 95% of our donations came from grassroots donors.
Think about that: despite the uncertain economic times, grassroots donors are stepping up in an unprecedented way, giving $5, $10, whatever they can. We’re humbled and grateful.

Like so many other Democrats unifying every day around @JoeBiden’s character and leadership, I couldn’t be more excited to help elect him the next President and end the disaster of Donald Trump.
It’s an honor to work alongside all of @TeamJoe who spent the last year fighting their hardest, in Philly HQ and the states, even when they were counted out. That’s who you want to be in the fight with, always.
I’m grateful to be back on a team together with folks from across the party and so many other campaigns, friends old and new, and especially the #KHive, #TeamPete, #BetoToBiden, #TeamAmy, #TeamCory, #TeamMike and many more still every day.

The end of a campaign is always so hard and sad. And this is the hardest. I’ve had the real honor to work for public servants at a lot of levels, lucky to win a few - and, like most who do this long enough, losing more than a few too
I always say you learn as much or more from the losses as you do from the wins; and while that’s way easier to say than to live, it’s as true today as ever. More to come, but a today a few things I learned from this one:
That Beto is a truly good man, whose love and hopes for his country are real, whose reasons for being in it are good and true, and whose capacity to listen and learn from fellow Americans is boundless - and clear from the first time I met him

I’ve sent letters to each of @facebook @twitter and @google on behalf of not just our campaign - but every campaign who has been left to contend on our own against disinformation. This isn’t our job to clean up: it’s theirs.
Here’s our letter to @jack, whose platform announced they are leaving the demonstrably false information up.
Our letter to @google who did reach out to us earlier this week, but asked us only to trust them that they handle this appropriately.

This weekend, a right wing bot network spread the completely false rumor that the Odessa shooter had a Beto sticker on his car. This was even echoed by Trump advisors. washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/…
As a campaign, we’re almost entirely powerless to stop misinformation. We can tweet corrections, but only a fragment of the people exposed will see it. This rests on Twitter, Facebook, and Google who let this go completely unchecked.
On Twitter, we saw thousands of tweets about this conspiracy theory, some with more than 10,000 retweets. The one from "Sue Moore" is where we believe the entire thing started.

Hi hi. On my way back to El Paso and thought I'd share a few thoughts from last night's debate.
1. I'm so proud of @betoorourke. He showed his fluency across every issue, the strength of his plans, the values that drive him--he's a leader who tells you directly what he believes and will be a President for everyone.
2. Having said that, I saw this tweet last night and chuckled — mostly because I personally hate debates. It’s a crappy format that incentives the behavior everyone hates about politics.
