I’ve sent letters to each of @facebook @twitter and @google on behalf of not just our campaign - but every campaign who has been left to contend on our own against disinformation. This isn’t our job to clean up: it’s theirs.

Here’s our letter to @jack, whose platform announced they are leaving the demonstrably false information up.

Our letter to @google who did reach out to us earlier this week, but asked us only to trust them that they handle this appropriately.

And our letter to @facebook who has given us no insight to the depth and reach of this disinformation on their platform - and seems content not to.

Our democracy depends on these platforms managing the crisis of disinformation. We’re aware they’ve all made efforts to improve. We are saying these efforts have been insufficient. They have to do better.

This week it’s us, but every candidate is at risk of disinformation campaigns. So today, we are calling on everyone in this race to stand with us in demanding Facebook, Google, and Twitter do better.
