1. Armenia is pushing for the right of #RemedialSecession of #Karabakh Armenians and for international recognition, as the only mechanism in place for the prevention of massacre of the entire Armenian population of Karabakh.
2. The survival needs of people are at stake in #Karabakh Evidence of harsh brutality of #Azerbaijani military against unarmed civilians and prisoners of war has already been circulated across int-l media.
3. In the course of the last few decades there have been at least 3 cases when the right for national self-determination was recognized by the world: East Timor, Kosovo and South Sudan.
4. In each case, the minority rights of Albanians, Timorese and South Sudanese were flagrantly violated and these people went through major cycles of violence and war resisting the threat of extermination.
5. When facing existential threat, other nations were also partially recognised: Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
6. Recognition of independence in all these cases was eventually acquired through the mechanism of #RemedialSecession.

7. There is a strong international consensus condemning the #NKwar waged by #Azerbaijan . Russia, Iran, the EU, US, and many other countries have already called for unconditional ceasefire.
8. Key international structures, including the UN, OSCE, CSTO, NATO call for immediate return to negotiations without pre-conditions.
9. Only #Turkey & #Azerbaijan demand pre-conditions in order to stop the war. If they continue the aggression and humanitarian catastrophe, the right for #RemedialSecession of #Karabakh should be acknowledged by int-l community.
