And I want to say thank you to those back bench MPs and ministers back in June 2020 who admitted to this

For several reasons.....

Reason 1

It shows you as an MP or minister know what a no deal
Brexit is

Therefore you know the selling of it as an Australian deal is a lie

Reason 2

You are honest enough to admit internally that Brexit will damage the U.K.

Whether you know this from horoscopes (as Mogg recommends) or from economists I don’t really care

You admit it to yourself

Reason 3

You admit to yourself again internally that coronavirus has not been the “massive success” Boris Johnson and his protective ring of acolytes try to sell it as

Reason 4

You demonstrate that

Never mind the con of brexit sold by cheating lies and racism

Never mind the Putin interference

Never mind lying to the Queen to unlawfully prorogue Parliament

Never mind breaking the law

There is no bottom to the barrel of your behaviour

Reason 5

Is my final one

You are afraid

You are you might say fearful

At the last

That the victims of austerity, of brexit, of coronavirus

See through your sad desperate tissue of lies, deflections and diversions

And hold you accountable

How do you live with yourself?

I would love to be a journalist and be able to ask you those questions

But I understand you will never answer

You have a fridge to hide those answers in
