My 1st NFT experience,
A thread..
I have just experienced my first nft gaming event on the blockchain. @F1DeltaTime @REVV_Token. I came across revv a few weeks before the event. A whopping 1.6 million revv was up for grabs. It perked my interest. f1deltatime.medium.com/f1-delta-time-…

2/ So i never bought an NFT before. But i have been in crypto since 2017. So I started 1st just buying parts, thinking there will be many people that will race and potentially want to earn some revv through the event. Hoping to maybe just flip some nfts along the way..

3/ So one thing lead to another.. i started buying up a few parts. I understood quickly that each part had different boots and traits. So i thought i fliter my search and grab as much relative parts. Again thought there would be more racers over this event. What turned out..

4/ Was quickly realising that there might not be as many racers, especially in Elite A event. So i happened to enter the event myself, without orginally having any prior intention. This only happens in crypto. So was it worth it ? Did i do good enough in the standings? Well...

5/ @REVV_Token @F1DeltaTime haven't yet to announce officially the rewards and results. But if you haven't read the medium yet, you would know the returns could be very rewarding in Tire A pool of 1million #revv was being shared. A top 20 would still be 👍.

6/ Example
Finishing 15th would get you 38000 revv, not only that but plus your minium staking intrest you accumulated during the event. Not only that if you finished top 10 you would get a fixed yeild % reward from the amount staked getting additional tokens... defi/nft twist.

7/ What this showed me as a non gamer on blockchain or nft holder that something like this got me very interested. In the future i can only imagine @F1DeltaTime holding big monthly events with greater pool sizes. The play to earn currently @REVV_Token is trying to create is 🙌🙌

8/ I can only imagine when the game comes out this month (if all goes to plan) will bring some eyeballs over to the eco-system and have potential to bring some defi/nft gaming on the blockchain..
If your thinking how much gas have you spend during the event..

9/ That's easy 0. Stacking revv was the only gas i used. Having #revv staked, allowed the racer to have unlimited turns. Find tuning cars, parts and trying to beat your time by sometimes for me .004 or .012.. crazy fun times.. well i believe this can go far, well let's hope 🙏

There is a lot of potential for this to take off with the current partnership they have and licensed partnership for also @MotoGP @REVV_Token is trying to create a play to earn module that might just work. It got me playing and i wouldn't thought i would. So that's my experience.

P.s full disclosure i don't work for revv nor is this any advice, paid add what ever, its just user and shareing my overall 1st hand experience. Maybe more if you like it..
