@ErikaAndiola: "I have faith in our movement. Once the campaigning is over, the governing starts. A lot of orgs have pushed Biden to have better immigration policy..."

.@jacobsoboroff "activism in local cities have stopped local police from handing over immigrants to ICE, what are your thoughts on this organizing?"

@ErikaAndiola: "We're working on the ground in Texas. Pushing the police to stop collaborating w/ICE...

"Also, we must hold Dems accountable. We can't be shy. We don't marry the candidate. If Biden does get elected, then we start pushing. In 2008 with Obama, we focused a lot on pressuring Congress. We ended up w/huge deportation machine and no path to citizenship..." @ErikaAndiola

"It feels like every wk there's a new case we can't believe is happening. Reminds me why we do this. Try to take it one day at a time. We've to do this for thousands out there who need support."

Really nice moment. @jacobsoboroff shares that @ErikaAndiola sharing her story gave him hope. Erika reminds people that some people can't vote, and so many have struggled to gain that power, and encourages people to use it.
