Germany decided to put Switzerland on their list of high risk countries. This generally means that when entering Germany from Switzerland, one has to either present a negative Covid-Test or go into a 14 days quarantine. #CoronaInfoCH
Instead of quarantine: One can, as mentioned, present a Covid-Test that is not older than 48 hours. After entering without a test and going into quarantine, a test can be made too. Quarantine can also be ended once a negative test result is present.
Exceptions: Border traffic from the cantons (both) Basel, Aargau, Schaffhausen, Zürich, Thurgau, St. Gallen. People coming from these countries to a Bundesland across the border, can stay for max 24 hours without quarantine / presenting a test.
The previously introduced exception for going to Baden-Württemberg is also still intact. But only when coming from Swiss border cantons (see previous tweet). So: shopping across the border is still possible, from both directions.
The German border control announced to make frequent checks.
