The president drew a line in the sand last night. Taunting us with the unspoken threat delivered by not acknowledging Lekki & that line about "swift response...& weakness". I daresay this is a stalemate - which is a big deal - 60 y/o Nigerian state against a 2-week old movement.
Whether or not we return to the streets is not the point. We have bossed that already and will easily repeat that feat. Now, we need to press home the advantage while we have the eyes of the world on Nigeria and #EndSARS, Otherwise, Lekki will happen again & the world won't stop.
So I call on everyone to hold their heads up. This isn't the end, neither have we lost a battle in this campaign. We're at an uneasy stalemate at best. The move now is to put the FG back on the defensive from it's bullish position taken with the blood of our brothers and sisters.
Let's Marshall our immense means to put faces and names to Lekki immediately. It's no longer enough to call it the #LekkiMassacre. I say this knowing fully well that this move will likely cause us more pain. They paid the ultimate price and that has to mean something.
