Disabling accounts/BMs/profiles of almost anyone running ads.
This isn't the first time FB has done this and it's certainly not the last.
So, here are my thoughts on the situation...
** FB Account Purge Thread **
I wanted to make this thread to help shed some light on what's going on.
My team and I have spent 7 figures this year over 100 BMs on different affilate offers.
So, I feel like I have a unique perspective.
Plus, I'll be adding in some info from some of our FB account providers
To begin, let's first start with the most common problems that occur:
1) Blanket ID Verification Requirement
This results in getting your advertising access restricted and is typically combined with phone verification.
2) Appeal Loop
Even after a successful appeal (70-80% success rate) any new action triggers the same flagging, going into an appeal loop and eventually hitting some sort of max strike policy.
3) Increased Policy Restrictions
This has hit affiliates and dropshippers the hardest
Regardless of how you warm up an account/BM they aren't allowing for consistent spend before something gets flagged.
A lot of us can't even get spend anything before the account/BM goes down.
Even if they're safe ads directing to the offer.
Now, onto why these issues could be occurring.
In my experience Q4 has always been a difficult time for policy.
But it's never been this bad where it effects the majority of advertisers.
Honestly, I think there's one major cause thats made FB be so strict over the last 60 days.
The election.
FB is trying to cover it's ass this time around which has lead them to mass banning accounts/BMs/profiles.
The only other time I’ve seen this kind of sweep was after the cambridge analytica stuff.
However, these automated sweeps are on a different level.
Because due to the nature of how FB sweeps, there's always a good amount of false-positives.
This has lead to a lot of of collateral damage as I'm sure a lot of you have seen.
I have even gotten ID verification on my own personal FB that I do not run ads on.
Likely a precursor to the ID requirements in an attempt to tamp down fake accounts before/during the election.
So, what can you do to get around all of this?
For most of you.....nothing.
I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear but it's the truth.
Personally, my team and I are waiting until after the election to run ads on FB.
In the meantime we are rebuilding our BM inventory.
We are working on getting all of our BMs verified.
As well as starting to spend a few hundred dollars on engagement campaigns to get the accounts all warmed up.
That way we'll be ready to go next month.
After the election is my earliest guess on when things will loosen up.
If not, then things will be much better in Q1.
P.S.
Remember this is more geared towards people running aff offers/dropshipping on BMs that have been rented/purchased or farmed.
That's what I've mainly been running over the last year so it's the only thing I can accurately speak on.
So, I hope you guys enjoyed the thread and helped shed some light on this frustrating situation.

Thanks,
AA
