Senior Adv Mukul Rohatgi: As of today there are 12 enquiries going on. This hearing will take some time. In spite suo motu jurisdiction was in question I was asked to go back to NGT and yet proceedings to continue... this matter will require an hour atleast
Justice Lalit: When is the matter in NGT
Court informed the matter before NGT is on Nov 3.
SC: Enquiry report noted by NGT in June, have you responded to it?
Rohatgi: explosion was on May 7, same day Andhra HC directed to form a committee and May 8 NGT took suo motu cognizance. NBT directed 50 crores and now HC case is parallel going on. NGT order was out on May 28
SC: Did you reply
Rohatgi: May 28 is Friday and June 1 was Sunday. You all asked me on May 19 to go back when I questioned the NGT order.
SC: why did not you file objection after June 1
Rohatgi: They accepted the report by then
Justice Rohatgi: Now reply to that in seven days. I also permitted you to send 13 people from LG to site and also inspect accounts.
Adv Anuj Berry: District Magistrate removed the legal person from the list of 13 people.
Rohatgi: give me 10 to 15 days, we will file a response. But there are 10 enquires are going on..
SC: how many appeals are before us.
Berry: two are listed which from NGT and one is yet to be listed, that challenges the Andhra HC order.
SC: list these matters on November 16 before appropriate bench. Mr Rohatgi stated that matter is posted before NGT on November 3. Considering the fact that this Court is now seized off the matter we direct NGT to defer hearing the matter till further orders of court.
SC: Mr Rohatgi submitted that report of the Committee uploaded on May 28 and submitted to NGT on June 1 does not have a reply to it. We give last opportunity to appellants to submit response to the committee report in the next 10 days. This is to be placed before us on Nov 16
