I missed it by 1 point. #Election2020 Image
Much will be discussed about 2020 and Latinos, here are some of bigger thoughts overnight:

1) @TheDemocrats had no real strategy or investment to understand and win over Puerto Rican voters.
2) Trump did exactly what he needed to do to win over the historical 1/3 base

Trump falsely claims that a very "sad group of people" were "disenfranchising" voters who chose him. #ElectionNight
Trump says it is also clear that he won GA and NC. Adds that there was "lot of life" in AZ. Blames an early call on that state.
Trump is doing exactly what everyone expected him to do: claim early victory on states whose votes have not come in fully.

News of Trump aid to #PuertoRico will do one thing for him that few are talking about: solidify a bit more the 30%-40% of Puerto Rican voters in FL and PA who are more ideologically aligned to GOP and Independents than to Dems. A lot of PR's current leaders are Trump supporters.
It would be foolish of people who THINK they know about Puerto Rico to just easily conclude that this will piss off ALL Puerto Rican voters off is places like FL and PA. Quite the contrary.
So, once again, Trump and as a result his campaign are doing what they have been doing for a while now: get the Latino voters who are voting for him to get excited about that, which is why Biden PR plan was not bold enough.

FYI, this is what @GoyaFoods CEO Bob Unanue said in 2012 press release with @MichelleObama in Tampa FL (not the White House). @BarackObama was not there. #GOYABOYCOTT #Goyaway
“For Goya, MiPlato is an ideal reflection of our product line; quality, flavor, healthy and nutritious; while offering guidance to the public to easily identify the basic food groups of vegetables, grains, fruits, proteins, and dairy.”
