BREAKING. No10 on #Brexit: “We have studied carefully the statement by Barnier to the European Parliament this morning. His words are authoritative".

“The PM and Michael Gove have both made clear in recent days that a fundamental change in approach was needed from the EU".

Siccome oggi sarebbe l’ultima serata “di libertà a Londra”, prima delle restrizioni anti Covid...

...adesso vi spiego perché UK e UE si sono impantanati così sulla #Brexit, quali sono i tre scogli sinora insormontabili e soprattutto: ci sarà davvero il No Deal?

1. Allora, cominciamo proprio dall’ultimo punto.

Innanzitutto: che cos’è il No Deal?

Il No Deal è l’uscita del Regno Unito dall’Ue SENZA ACCORDO, commerciale ma non solo (pensate solo ad accordi in vigore su aerei, sicurezza, antiterrorismo, uso di dati etc).

2. Ma il problema è soprattutto commerciale (sugli altri, a parte i dati, un accordicchio si trova).

Se il Regno Unito esce con il NO DEAL, quasi tutto l’export (e anche import da UE) non fa parte più brutalmente del mercato unico EU e vengono applicati dazi e tariffe.

1. Breve riassunto delle puntate precedenti:
- la #Brexit diventerà realtà il 31 dicembre.
- UK e UE stanno negoziando le - complicatissime - relazioni future dopo quella data, tra cui un accordo commerciale.
- Johnson vuole un accordo stile Canada, per l’Ue non è possibile.
2. Ma di questo parleremo dopo. Ora c’è un problema più grosso: la Internal Market Bill, un disegno di legge sul mercato interno britannico presentato ieri dal governo Johnson. 🇬🇧

Un disegno di legge che è politicamente esplosivo e che ha fatto infuriare l’Ue per vari motivi.🇪🇺

Visto che ne leggo di tutti i colori, un po' di chiarezza sul caso di Boris Johnson, Ria Novosti e la notizia millantata dalla Russia domenica sera di "Johnson attaccato al respiratore". Cosa che NON è vera, a oggi. Come non è vero che "allora i russi avevano ragione".

Partiamo dall'inizio. Domenica sera Boris Johnson viene ricoverato, d'urgenza, perché l'ultima cosa che si sarebbe sognato di fare è rovinare il messaggio di speranza della Regina alla nazione, come poi è successo.

Downing St lo comunica a noi giornalisti parlamentari alle 21.09
Intorno alle 24, poi, l'agenzia di stampa ufficiale della Russia, Ria Novosti, pubblica questa notizia.

Secondo Ria Novosti, Johnson sarebbe presto "sottoposto a ventilatore" vista la "gravità delle sue condizioni".
