ON RAHMAN'S PERCEIVED INDECENT DRESSING THAT CAUSED THE AGED LONG PROBLEM OF UNDERDEVELOPMENT IN AND TERRORISM IN THE NORTH:

A critical examination of the main criminal laws in Nigeria, i.e the Criminal Code and Penal Code, reveals that
there is no section of the law that penalises anyone who puts on clothes seen or perceived to be Indecent. The Penal Code in trying to curb indecency provided in Section 200 that -
“whosoever to the annoyance of others does any obscene or indecent act in a public place shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or with fine or both.”
It is clear that the above provision of the Penal Code does not in any way prohibit putting on indecent dresses whatsoever. In the north, the provision of the Kaduna State Penal Code law has a sister provision: section
168 Kaduna State Criminal Law, captioned ‘Obscene or Indecent Acts’ provides;

“whoever to the annoyance of others does any obscene or indecent act by whatever means to the public shall be punished with imprisonment for a term of not less than two
Years or with a fine of not less than Two Hundred Thousand Naira or both”.

The above provision of the law does not in any way make the crime of 'indecent' dressing a personal decision to style people's attire indecent.
By the provision of the Sharia Law which is only applicable in 12 Northern States which are: Zamfara, Kano, Sokoto, Katsina, Bauchi, Borno, Jigawa, Kebbi, Yobe, Kaduna, Niger and Gombe, indecent dressing is frowned at and the punishment for its contravention.
Sharia law is only applicable to Muslims and does NOT apply to Non-Muslims unless such Non-Muslim decides to be guided by the Sharia Law. The various Sharia Courts have jurisdiction ONLY IF THE PERSONS CONCERNED ARE MUSLIMS OR DECIDES TO
BE GOVERNED BY SHARIA LAW AND IF NOT THE LAW DOES NOT HAVE JURISDICTION. There is no law that specifically criminalises putting on indecent dresses aside from the sharia law in some Northern states which is only applicable to Muslims or other persons who
decides to be governed by Sharia Law. Furthermore, it is unlawful for the police or other security agency to arrest or detain anyone for putting on any cloth of choice as such arrest or detention will be illegal and a breach of the person’s fundamental rights.
The exception of the Sharia Law should always be remembered.

Therefore, the uproar on Rahman's perceived indecent dressing by council of Deputy Allahs, is more of a religious or moral critique than a legal offence.

WHAT IS INDECENT ABOUT RAHMAN'S DRESSING AS AN ACTRESS?

HYPOCRISY RECEIVING PROCEEDS VAT/ALLOCATION FROM THE SALE OF ALCOHOL BY THE KANO STATE GOVERNMENT

The Kano State Government in a dramatic show of shame and hypocrisy has destroyed liquid contents of alcohol (bear) worth 200 million naira, in a secular Nigeria.
Our take is that the act is retrogressive and, a direct hypocritical application of the letters and adherence of the hadith as we shall see. The dominant belief in Islam is that, not only is the consumption of alcohol in any of its forms forbidden,
BUT MUSLIMS SHOULD AVOID EVEN INDIRECT ASSOCIATION WITH ALCOHOL.

A well-known hadith attests that God has cursed ten different behaviors—not only the drinking of alcohol, but nine kinds of acts that facilitate the drinking of alcohol:

As a matter of principle, I've no interest in the U.S. politics. I follow it only for academic purposes. Whoever wins, AMERICA WILL ALWAYS BE BETTER THAN NIGERIA.

For those following the American electoral process, I hope you are learning something. Do not create enemies!
For those who sincerely might not know and to those who have chosen to be grandiosely ignorant: there is no President-elect in America until the electoral collage declares one! And the election isn't over until it is called off by electoral collage.
As a matter of law, when electoral matters gets to SCOTUS, electoral collage declaration is over ruled.

I have observed painfully that most of the people creating unnecessary enemies because of the U.S. electoral system, know little or absolutely nothing concerning the U.S.

Dearest H.E. @MrUdomEmmanuel,

Sir, may respectfully say thank you for your loud and sterling leadership style that has contributed in no small way, in transforming Akwa Ibom State. Your achievements speaks for themselves.

Sir, you have done noble in that regard. Image
Respectfully sir, I know that the Akwa Ibom State Government is being peopled and driven by spotless reformers with impeccable credentials. But the stark irony is that, there is not reformable about their style of Governance.
Sir, I think they can do better. It is always very difficult to transform a state from a civil servant state, to a commercial hub, for business to thrive. It will always take unequaled industry and time. I believe the Government has the capacity to do it.

Dear #EndSARS protesters,

1. Whenever you go out for any peaceful protest, put on a Facemask...conceal your identity.

2. Avoid covens. Avoid unnecessary WhatsApp groups. Phone calls will do.

3. Be discreet. E get why.

4. Some feats are not meant for public consumption.
In response to Dr. Omole, I did a thread on the uselessness of leaderless protest in a time like this. I remember reading from my boss and chief, the Great Oracle @AbdulMahmud01, where he cautioned that strategies and activities be kept secret.

Some of these seemingly 'active Twitter and WhatsApp users' are well trained Policemen and DSS officials trailing and tracking Govt critics.

Trust me: you won't know. Some do not even say anything about politics. Others try to assume an apolitical position.

I know a few here.

The Commander, 9 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Brig Gen Musa Etsu-Ndagi, representing the Nigerian Army on the Lagos State Security Council, has said he received a phone call from the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu,
around 7.23pm on October 20,2020 informing him that a certain Lt Col Bello was reportedly shooting at the Lekki tollgate where #EndSARS protesters were gathered.
Etsu-Ndagi said he immediately called Bello, who is the Commanding Officer, 65 Battalion, Bonny Camp, Victoria Island, and he (Bello) told him that he only fired blank ammunition into the air.

Nigeria's Inspector General of @PoliceNG has authorised the extrajudicial killing of #EndSARS protester found staging any form of peaceful protest on the streets of Nigeria.

Henceforth, any #EndSARS protester found protesting will be shot at, and killed on sight.

My God!
I cannot believe that the IGP has publicly ordered the execution of the Youths. We last saw this in South Africa and Rwanda.

Now, it is happening in Nigeria.
I mean, the IGP surreptitiously, and in a cocky manner quoted the sections that favoured his call for crime against humanity.

Why did he not travel to sections 34, 35, 36 to 41 of the same 1999 Constitution?

This is just a call to commit murder.
