3/6 I believe the government should generally socialist its view and keep the good aspects of it, but have a very strong written constitution with harsh penalties to stop those who would go to far to the hard left.
4/6 All former public utilities and services should be brought back under Government, national and local control.
But this is where I differ from others
They should be private companies with shareholders, but the Govt owns 51% of the shares for ever
5/6 The law would have to written in such a way it would be a criminal offence for any future Govt to try to sell off any part of its 51%
The other 49% would be in the hands of decent investors like pensions funds and similar companies that have 25 year sustainable view points
6/6 That way the capitalist still have a section of the pie
But have to understand the days of mega one year profits are over, they must work with Govt in ethical sustainable ways
So we could have sustainable investment and growth
And also help tackle the pension time bomb.
Bluntly
The Govt should be in full control of who invests in Govt owed assets, they should be ethical and sustainable companies, but never ever let them take ownership.
And should also invest in companies with ethical sustainable long term views.
