Twitter is full of negative and even malicious criticism of #China and the #CPC.
Few people think about why such an "evil" CPC still has the support of 1.4 billion Chinese people.
I'm trying to tell you about China's advantages and why we support the CPC.(1/N) Image
1. China persists in socialism, but doesn't exclude capitalism.
China persists in the leadership of the CPC, but doesn't exclude other parties from supervising the govt.(2/N) Image
2. China's "mix-suitable" economic model is rare in the world. China is neither a complete public ownership economy nor a complete market economy. This mix-suitable mode is very effective.(3/N) Image

The Chinese version of the story is the closest to the truth. The story begun with a HongKong murderer…
1. A HongKong man named Chen Tongjia murdered his pregnant girlfriend in Taiwan and abandoned her body in a suitcase. Then he fled back to HongKong.
2. The HK Police, with the cooperation of the Taiwan police, soon arrested him.
But, because the crime took place in Taiwan, HK law cannot convict him of murder.
Meanwhile, no extradition rule between Taiwan and HK, so he also cannot be sent to Taiwan.
He was eventually released
3. To solve this problem, the HongKong govt decided to pass an extradition bill with Taiwan.
However, Taiwan's political status is embarrassing. It is not a sovereign state.
Therefore, the extradition bill must include the Chinese mainland.

On twitter, as a Chinese, the most frequently asked question for me is, why don't you oppose the CPC? Why don't Chinese support western style democracy? Why do Chinese people support President Xi, who has no votes? Now, I'm going to tell them why.(1/N)
Unlike so-called "democratic countries," the Chinese people value experience more than votes or other abilities for government officials. From the Sui Dynasty on (1400 years ago), officials were selected and promoted by examination, not by blood or birth.(2/N)
In today's China, if you want to enter politics, you have to take a hard and competitive road. Whether you come from a grassroots family or a political family, you have to go through every step. Only in this way, you can reach the top of power, like President Xi.(3/N)

Many Westerners firmly believe that "the Chinese have no votes. So, no votes, no right, no anything". Are votes equal to truth? Can we get truth through votes? I do not think so. What we need is the path to truth, not the path most people choose.
Westerners believe that the truth can be obtained by voting, which stems from their religion. Idealism believes that God is truth, and people can get truth by voting after vowing to God. "The jury is always right."
So is voting equal to democracy? Many Westerners consider the opposite of democracy to be dictatorship. In fact, dictatorship is generated through democracy.

因为项目原因,最近在研究澳门特区政府的《施政报告》等相关材料。同样是特区,同样是“一国两制”,为什么澳门就风平浪静国泰民安,香港就波涛汹涌社会动荡? Image
首先,澳门特区政府与中央保持一致,进行了中长期规划。这份2016年编撰的“五年规划”非常详细,涉及城市治理的方方面面。我验证了一下,几乎所有计划目标都达成了。 ImageImageImage
其次,澳门特区政府对民生改善是非常重视的。尤其是其社保体系。 ImageImage
