It was shot with MANPAD. Azerbaijan apologized and offered to compensate. Unclear what reaction will follow, but so far Moscow was avoiding any intervention
This is a good point: the Russian helicopter was shot down at the territory of #Armenia proper. There have been incidents before, but #Russia remained silent every time. Now also there's not much reaction despite CSTO agreements.
@MFAofArmenia: "Notably, that tragic incident occurred far away from the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, in a place, where no military clashes have been recorded during this period."
He says he will talk in detail about what happened during this month, but right now he cannot say much because the process [of implementing the agreement] in ongoing
Says those who crush stuff on the street are just hitting us from the back
Meanwhile, 17 political parties demanded Pashinyan's resignation. The list includes oligarch Tsarukyan's PA (the only one currently in Parliament), former ruling RPA, Dashnaktsutyun and several small parties. Right now all I see is people criticizing these 17.
People are angry as these move is seen as an attempt to gain power by destabilizing country in times of war. Many of these parties are connected to former ruling elites, which are widely unpopular + people know what happened to Azerbaijan in 1990s.
I think we will see more demands for Pashinyan's resignation, but hardly they will be successful.
@presidentaz says everything about #Azerbaijan wrongdoings is fake news! Someone should organize a webinar for autocrats across the world to define this concept 😀
