Nikol is live
He says he will talk in detail about what happened during this month, but right now he cannot say much because the process [of implementing the agreement] in ongoing
Says those who crush stuff on the street are just hitting us from the back
One general who demanded my resignation, run away from Shushi and today came here saying "we stand by our army". Where were you then?
There are such people among the protestors. But there also are honest people - and I an getting on my knees in front of their mothers, sisters...
Today among those who crush stuff in Yerevan - why are they in Yerevan? Why are they in Yerevan in camouflage?
He says they crush stuff because all the police is at the frontline. "My son is at the frontline, my wife is at the frontline, and I am proud of it"
Says among protestors there are many from the former regime - oligarch people, former corrupt officials people
I want us to understand one thing: this decision was made based on military situation and evaluation of those people who know military situation the best. We need to understand that our glorious army fought against terrorists, @NATO second largest army and Azerbaijan.
This all happened because for years we eat the bread that was bought by stolen money. We fed soldiers with leftovers, gave them 80s' weapons and hoped we'll get away with it during negotiations - ok for 5 y, 10, 15, - it would end one day...
And we all - those who were in charge and we all - did nothing about it. I knew we are heading towards this day because I knew what was negotiated - there was no room for "krutit" [can't translate sorry] anymore
I did everything which was possible to do in 2,5 years, and our army fought with dignity for 44 days.
Among protestors there are people affiliated with political parties. One of them has about $185 million debt to state. More than All Armenia Fund collected.
Today, people like this do debauch because they want to defend their right to steal.
Yes, I understand the emotion - they need to come out. But we will talk in detail later, those who are responsible - including me - will be hold responsible
After the situation is stabilized, in a week, I will talk in detail. But I want you to know that our government did everything for us not to have this result. Why we did not succeed is the biggest problem - and about that we should have very detailed conversation.
Today we have troops of mayor (officials) who stand at the frontline, some sick, with fever. You know why? Because those who do debauch today to not go to replace them
All those who committed crimes today will be hold responsible - know for sure. Those who ran away from the frontline cannot now do opposition speeches in Yerevan
Says all he did during this time was in accordance to his responsibility to the people. *speech ended*

Meanwhile, 17 political parties demanded Pashinyan's resignation. The list includes oligarch Tsarukyan's PA (the only one currently in Parliament), former ruling RPA, Dashnaktsutyun and several small parties. Right now all I see is people criticizing these 17.
People are angry as these move is seen as an attempt to gain power by destabilizing country in times of war. Many of these parties are connected to former ruling elites, which are widely unpopular + people know what happened to Azerbaijan in 1990s.
I think we will see more demands for Pashinyan's resignation, but hardly they will be successful.

It was shot with MANPAD. Azerbaijan apologized and offered to compensate. Unclear what reaction will follow, but so far Moscow was avoiding any intervention
This is a good point: the Russian helicopter was shot down at the territory of #Armenia proper. There have been incidents before, but #Russia remained silent every time. Now also there's not much reaction despite CSTO agreements.
@MFAofArmenia: "Notably, that tragic incident occurred far away from the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, in a place, where no military clashes have been recorded during this period."

@presidentaz says everything about #Azerbaijan wrongdoings is fake news! Someone should organize a webinar for autocrats across the world to define this concept 😀
