Getting a lot of negative comments on your Facebook ads?

It's something that can have a big impact on your ad's performance.

Here are 3 options you have to deal with them 👇

** Moderate Comments Thread **
1. Best Case Scenario

You can make some tweaks on your ads to prevent the comments in the first place.

I'd imagine if you're running the ads you most likely know what's causing the negative comments.

So try pulling things back a little to make it less controversially.
2. Manually Moderate

Start with your top spending ads and work your way down.

1. Go to the ad
2. Click Edit
3. Click the button to the right of the 'View More Variations' button
4. Click 'Facebook Post with Comments'

You should see this menu 👇
Once the ad comes up, the rest is pretty self explanatory.

Ideally, you/your VA/employee can just respond to them to clear up any issues.

But if for whatever reason that isn't an option you can hide the comment.

This method is time consuming FYI.
3. Automatically Moderate

Google 'moderation words list fb ads'

Download one of the lists.

Go to the settings on your page and select Page Moderation.

Now, upload the list.

FB will block any comments with those words in them on your ads and posts now.
There is also a Profanity Filter option right below the Page Moderation section.

So for example if your running ads for something political.

You'll get a lot of strongly worded comments so, I'd recommend turning this to Strong.

Struggling to find your 1st product?

Here are 5 free ways to do just that 👇

** Product Research 101 Thread **
1) Go to Facebook and search common phrases that are in ads (50% off, limited time, etc) and then click on the posts/videos tab.

Now you scroll through and see different posts and videos of tons of products that people have posted.

Make sure to press 2019 to find new products.
2) Similar to #1 search common phrases in ads along with your niche like this:

50% Off "Fitness" or Shop Now "Cooking"

This should bring up posts that have the common phrase in it as well as the niche name in the post or in the page name.

New to ecom?

Don't try to launch a free plus shipping store.

"But I'll get a bunch of good data to build LLAs"

Wrong.

Using this method to collect data faster when you're just starting out is the worst idea ever.

Let me explain why 👇
Someone told me this the other day and I was shocked that they expected this to work.

Free plus shipping in general is a very hard strategy to turn profitable (one main exception, I'll talk about it at the end).

Your room for profitability is very tight on the front end.
When you're advertising a free plus shipping product, do you understand the type of customer you are attracting to your store?

No? Let me tell you.

Cheapskates.

They're only interested in your product because it's "free".

Running any FB ads?

Do you have Advanced Matching turned on?

Do you even know what it is?

I'm suuuurree all you know what it is but for those you don't....

Let me explain 👇

** Advanced Matching Thread **
So, what is it and what does it help with?

"Advanced matching lets you send us (FB) hashed customer identifiers along with your pixel events in order to help you attribute more conversions and reach more people."

This will help your overall campaigns for 2 reasons ⬇️
Since FB will be able to better match your conversions to customers, it will help with

1) increasing the number of people in your custom audiences

and

2) decrease your cost per conversion since you'll be getting more conversions/data overtime

"I just need to get to 100 purchasers, so I can create Lookalikes and then my performance will get better"

Wrong.

I hear this a lot from beginners who clearly don't understand LLAs.

So, let's see if we can change that.

** Lookalikes 101 Thread **
Before I explain what a Lookalike audience is, I need to explain what a custom audience is.

A custom audience is a list or group of users that you have collected or they have interacted with your pixel/website/accounts.

The image below shows all of the ways you can create one.
Now, you know what a custom audience is.

So, in order to create a Lookalike there are 3 parts.

1. Lookalike Source

2. Audience Location

3. Audience Size
