"Three peace agreements in 6 weeks. I don't think it gets much better than that. Today we are making history again"

Just two months ago, we made history in Washington. We signed the seminal Abraham Accords.

I want to thank President @realDonaldTrump, @SecPompeo and the President's able peace team led by Jared Kushner for their leadership and vision in advancing this historic peace Image
This is the first-ever official ministerial visit from the Kingdom of Bahrain to the State of Israel. It marks another important milestone on the road to peace between our two countries and peace in the region. Image
Like Israel, Bahrain respects the past while embracing the future. Like Israel, Bahrain is small in size but big in aspirations. Like Israel, Bahrain has built a thriving economy by fostering innovation and free enterprise.
Like Israel, Bahrain has built a thriving economy by fostering innovation and free enterprise.

It has a robust and modern economy, with thriving e-commerce and FinTech, cutting edge aluminum production, cutting edge tourism and much more.
What we're doing at this visit is to enabling the free flow of ideas, innovators, entrepreneurs between Israel and Bahrain, both directions. We are unleashing a tremendously potent economic force and a force for peace for the benefit of both our peoples.
We're not doing this in the distant future. We're doing it right now as we speak and it's happening with astonishing speed. Israelis are flying to Bahrain. Bahrainis are flying to Israel. The sky is no longer the limit.
Foreign Minister Al-Zayani please convey to King Hamad my heartfelt admiration for his visionary and courageous leadership.
In 2019, His Majesty hosted a regional economic summit that brought together Bahrainis, Israelis, Americans, representatives from the Middle East and beyond Image
I think that meeting was actually a harbinger of good things to come. It was a tremendously important step on our common path to reconciliation and peace.

Today, King Hamad and I are building a bridge of peace that many others will cross in the future.
Secretary Pompeo, I thank you again for your unwavering friendship. Constant at all times. I ask you to convey to President @realDonaldTrump my deep appreciation and the appreciation of our grateful nation for all he and his administration have done for Israel and for peace. Image
Israel and Bahrain have had many contacts over the years but very frankly, this day would not have happened, these Abraham Accords would not have been signed, without President Trump’s crucial support and leadership.
PM Netanyahu: "I welcome all our honored guests from the Kingdom of Bahrain and from the United States and I thank you for being with us here on this special occasion as we take another historic step on the road to a broader peace.
Welcome all". 🇮🇱🇺🇸🇧🇭 Image

PM Netanyahu: "@SecPompeo, Mike, we just had a very intimate and productive conversation overlooking the walls of Jerusalem and it reminded me of how deep and profound your tie is to the Jewish state. Image
I gave you a Bible as a gift and I said that the People of the Book have not had a better friend and I mean it. I want to also express my appreciation for our personal friendship and everything that went along with it. So every word that I'm saying here is meant from the heart.

The Cabinet will be briefed on how the coronavirus pandemic is being dealt with. We are opening commerce in street stores. To prevent a resurgence in morbidity, we are allowing opening for up to 4 customers at any one time, while strictly adhering to distancing and hygiene.
We are still in an early stage of returning to routine. We are constantly evaluating the effects of the measures to ease restrictions and the gradual opening in the preliminary stages, in order to prevent an outbreak of the pandemic.

"I would like to start with congratulations for @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris. I have a long and warm personal connection with Joe Biden for nearly 40 years, and I know him as a great friend of the State of Israel.
I am certain that we will continue to work with both of them in order to further strengthen the special alliance between Israel and the US.
For myself and for all citizens of the State of Israel, I again thank President @realDonaldTrump for the great friendship he showed the State of Israel and me personally.

Yesterday we took a step toward a historic peace between Israel and Sudan. I thank Chairman of the Sovereignty Council al-Burhan and Sudanese PM Hamdok for their historic decisions. Above all, I thank President @realDonaldTrump and his team with whom we are changing history.
I remind you that Sudan was an enemy country. It participated in war against Israel. In the Sudanese capital of Khartoum, the Arab League declared the three no's with Israel: No peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel. We changed all of that.
Some of you may not remember that Iran also used Sudan for smuggling. Iran was a country from which very dangerous weapons would be smuggled to Hamas via Sudan, the Nile valley and Sinai and this compelled me to order steps to prevent this and indeed this has changed.

Prime Minister Netanyahu, on the declaration of normalization between Israel and Sudan:
“Today we announce another dramatic breakthrough for peace, another Arab state joining the circle of peace. This time, it is normalization between Israel and Sudan. What a great turnaround!
In Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, in 1967 the Arab League adopted its three ‘No’s’: ‘No to peace with Israel, no to recognition of Israel and no to negotiations with Israel.'
However, today Khartoum has said, ‘Yes to peace with Israel, yes to recognition of Israel and yes to normalization with Israel.’ This is a new era, an era of true peace, a peace that is expanding with other Arab countries, with three of them joining in recent weeks.
