Alright, thanks to Tweepie for giving 80 likes to this post.

The case was from remote village from Siddhapur Taluk, Karwar district.

The patient was my friend's mom.

She was 60 years old, diabetic and hypertensive. She had complaints of fever, dry cough, chest pain
She got the x-ray done and report was given by the nearby radiologist.

She wanted to visit the physician and unfortunately that day physician was infected with corona virus and she had no medical assistance nearby. She was all alone and she couldn't go to nearby cities.
Plus she was not privileged to opt private hospitals.

She was managing the mild pneumonia with home remedies!

When those home remedies never worked and she called her daughter to look after her.

She came all the way from Mysuru to her hometown to look after her mom.
Remote village and upon that no access to better Medical facility, adding to it pandemic time!

Her daughter called me asking what to do.

In lockdown time I had studied about Corona virus, its treatment and was treating friends in twitter and on phone.

Most of them are
Underprivileged and poor people.

And my previous work experience on treating viral diseases gave me strength to treat her.

I asked her to arrange pulse oximeter and fortunately she had brought the pulse oximeter!

I told the daughter that her mom has to be kept in the
Strict isolation and make sure that no one goes near her.

Village environment eased it.

The patient didn't even use the toilet inside her home to protect her daughter from possible corona infection!

I asked her daughter to arrange oxygen cylinder in case of emergency or
Breathlessness situation.

The oxygen supplier said ₹3000/- advance and ₹300/- per cylinder! He agreed to negotiate in the price in case of emergency!

Constant monitoring of pulse oximeter started, that was twice a day reading.

Conservative management started that is to treat
Patients according to the symptoms.

So medicines were

Antipyretics -₹25/- per strip
Anti-allergics- ₹30/- per strip
Anti-tussive or cough suppressant - ₹100/-
Gargling ₹100/-

So medicines started working but her recovery was not fast. I doubted her sugar levels
As increased sugar levels may prolong the infection.

Unfortunately her daughter told me that she was giving her fruit salad with honey as suggested by her cardiologist it seems!,🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
Imagine high sugar diet to diabetic! This is the situation of healthcare!

I told her to stop it
Regular intake of medicines and healthy Lifestyle ( she used to do evening and morning walk in the room)

She recovered totally and her corona test came negative!

Telemedicine is definitely not recommended by me.

Physician needs clinical examination and tests
Management needs strict monitoring.

But underprivileged people of India are usually deprived of everything needed for better healthcare.

I just thanked God that it worked and she recovered

Her daughter tested negative while leaving(thanks to her for following my strict advice)
That gratitude in her while speaking in the phone gave me immense peace.

I just thanked God and cut the call in three minutes!

I wish govt had made the above medicines' kit to tackle Corona!

But govt never runs by the science!

So be aware, don't fear about corona, wear mask.
I hope you all will like this and ask me questions about other drugs being prescribed in treatment of Corona.

Your questions are welcomed. ☺️☺️🙂🙏

Thank you for your time and patience! ☺️☺️🙏🙏

🙏🙏Jai Bhuvaneshwari Devi 🙏🙏

Marital rape. A small thread.

In India @Manekagandhibjp openly spoke about this. But unfortunately there is no law which can make spouses to go to station or court.
(Even if there will be law still it's of no use!)

I want to share 2 stories about this shared by my OBG friend.
1. Young female brought to Emergency triage with profuse bleeding from her private part. Her Mehandi was still there.Duty MO asked patient history. On asking She said this is her first night!

The silence and inaction of @UN always made India to fetch heavy price!

In 1962 during Chinese invasion into the Aksai Cheen area @UN did Nothing, we have lost Aksai Cheen!
In 1965 during Pakistan invasion, @UN did nothing and we have lost so many soldiers in the battlefield.

From 1968-1971 during Pakistan atrocities on Bangladesh people, @UN did nothing, before 1971 Bangladesh witnessed mass murder by Butcher of Bengal Tikka Khan! Then Indian PM
Had to plea in front of the world to help Bangladesh people to get their land and rights back but got nothing. Eventually it led to war.India helped Bangladesh to get freedom.India lost brave soldiers!

In 1967,China again wanted to attack India, @UN did nothing and we have lost

Till 2014 medical entrances were not like NEET! Both UG and PG entrance exams were students friendly as state government used to conduct both the exams and the exams were relatively easy. But since formation of BJP govt the exams became centralised. The SC judgement also favored
NEET. Coaching institutes which were earning hardly 5 crore annual turnover now earning whooping 500+ crores!

As NEET exam requires multiple attempts and dependence on coaching institutes. The exam never approaches the students to show their talent of what they're learnt but
It makes students to learn memorization and mugging up which is pathetic type of exam conductance.

People say NEET exam is mainly for favouring North Indian students. For example U.P has 26 crore population, but has 13 government medical colleges. In that only very few colleges
