PPB has received questions regarding enforcement of Governor Brown's recent executive order. We will still be acting under an education first type of focus rather than an enforcement first type of focus.
We will continue to try and gain voluntary compliance to this order when responding to calls for service involving perceived violations. Citations or arrests will only be made as a last resort.
Please do not call 911 to report violations. For businesses in violation, OSHA would be the appropriate organization to notify, as well as OLCC if that business serves alcohol.
We recognize the challenges the pandemic and its restrictions have had on our community, but urge everyone to follow the health guidelines and restrictions to help keep others safe.
