It is not surprising that Berk believes he couldn't get a case past a prelim in Monterey County the Superior Court bench is that corrupt. Not all, but key figures. That's the point. Government corruption depends on key figures not a vast sea of garbage people. Just a handful.

To date we have never had a Superior Court judge arrested for corruption. That may change in the near future. But for now, the system is broken, a US President is coup'ing from the WH, and John Phillips remains a free man.
