The Project Update Inspection Tour started with the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Dual Carriageway (under reconstruction) on Thursday November 19, 2020. The Chief of Staff to the President, Prof Ibrahim Gambari, led a delegation that held a Town Hall Meeting with project stakeholders.
On Friday November 20, the Minister of @FMWHNIG, @tundefashola carried out a Project Update Inspection of the Main Works and Associated Infrastructure of the Second Niger Bridge Project in Anambra and Delta States, and also held a Town Hall Meeting with Stakeholders.
On Saturday, November 21, 2020, the Minister inspected the ongoing Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Expansion of the Lagos-Ibadan Dual Carriageway, Sections I & II in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo States, and also held a Town Hall Meeting with Stakeholders. #GovtAtWorkNG

The 5,000 BPD Refinery being commissioned today by Pres. Buhari will produce 271m liters of petroleum product annually. Since it commenced evacuation of products in Nov 2020, it has already delivered 5 million litres of product into the Nigerian market, according to the company.
The next phase of this Project will be a 45,000 BPD Refinery, with a completion timeline of 24-30months. When completed, the Refinery will utilize 16 million barrels of crude oil annually, according to @wabote_simbi, Executive Secretary of @OfficialNCDMB

The Managing Director of Julius Berger revealed that the company has introduced a new innovative Cold Recycling method of constructing roads in Nigeria, which is being used for the first time in Nigeria for the ongoing reconstruction of Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano dual carriageway.
He listed the benefits of Cold Recycling as achieving shorter construction time, conservation of resources, cost effectiveness, enhanced road safety and environmental friendliness.

President @MBuhari has approved all the recommendations of the Report of the Special Visitation Panel to the University of Lagos. Among the recommendations are the reinstatement of Professor Oluwatoyin T. Ogundipe as the Vice Chancellor, as his removal did not follow due process.
The Panel also recommended that all allegations made against the Vice Chancellor and the management of the University before & after Constitution of the Special Visitation Panel should be referred to regular Visitation Panel for thorough investigation & necessary recommendations.
Accordingly:
—Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe is hereby reinstated as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos.
—The Governing Council of the University of Lagos is hereby dissolved.
