Where to start...well apparently the WH including Trump knew how bad the virus was months before it got here. Didn't tell the states, or the people or make any preparations whatsoever. Guess they were worried about a bad news cycle
When the virus did get here, instead of responding, providing information, and basically acknowledging reality your "president" outright lied "It's going to disappear". Yeah, tell that to NY and NJ...it didn't go away, but I guess that would have been "bad news"
So then, NY got slammed. There was no federal help, no prep, no warning. The virus came from Europe while your "president" talked about the "China Virus". I guess racism and xenophobia make better news than mass graves on Hart Island.
While NY City was locked down and we all stoped our lives to ensure our neighbors lived, your "president" had BS news conferences where he still downplayed the virus. GOP decided this was a "blue state problem" so all those folks could just die. But you know...good news
Your "president" lauded a new piece of technology, which is helpful as a screening test but in no way adequate. And when he showed it off, it was upside down. That really makes us all confident. Bunches of people are still dying but you know...good news
Idiot-in-Chief kept talking about hydroxy. A drug that can kill people but is REALLY needed by some people with other diseases. So now, there is a rush on this unproven, dangerous treatment people who really need it can't find it. But by all means, let's just report on good news

He has NO IDEA how he will distribute a vaccine and doesn't not care! He's too busy having a tantrum!
It did not have to be this way. He could have prepared. Gotten a test and trace program, listened to scientists, but that wouldn't have led to "good news" WE COULD BE ON OUR WAY TO NORMAL NOT COUNTING THE DEAD!
There are a ton of other boneheaded, criminal things this "administration" has done but really I need to prepare to have Thanksgiving via Zoom. Is that good news?
