Hi Kids! Let's have a little talk about John #Kasich. John may talk all nice and sound all reasonable but his record tells a different story...
As Gov of Ohio Johnny signed every anti-choice bill that came across his desk. Ohio passed 17 women's health restriction and closed nearly half the abortion providers in the state
He is a climate change denier, he cut funding to public schools and supports fracking. He supported charter schools that were mired in controversy
He is anti-union and tried to limit collective bargaining. He will tell you unemployment went down in Ohio, but won't say poverty went up
He opposes marriage equality and is anti-Obamacare. He took extra Medicaid funds, but then cut taxes so Ohioans got no benefit.
After his stint in Congress, he became an exec at Lehman Brothers, one of the investment banks that helped lead to the 2008 collapse
All in all, he is a conservative in the vein of Newt Gingrich. He just talks all pretty. Yes, he reaches across the aisle but he also does great damage with his policies.

Wow! @marcorubio this is deranged even for you! Let's see if I can remind you of the gross negligence of this "president" and the entire GOP as Americans died
Where to start...well apparently the WH including Trump knew how bad the virus was months before it got here. Didn't tell the states, or the people or make any preparations whatsoever. Guess they were worried about a bad news cycle
When the virus did get here, instead of responding, providing information, and basically acknowledging reality your "president" outright lied "It's going to disappear". Yeah, tell that to NY and NJ...it didn't go away, but I guess that would have been "bad news"
Ok, folks... let's get real about the potential for a vaccine for COVID-19. Even though lots of people have never heard of any coronavirus, there are lots of them.
We have been dealing with coronaviruses in humans and animals for 100s of years. In humans, they cause respiratory illnesses as minor as a cold to severe like the newly described COVID-19
In animals, they cause a variety of diseases including respiratory disease and intestinal diseases. In many cases, such as in infectious bronchitis virus of chickens, the virus causes high morbidity (lots of chickens get infected) and low mortality (only a few die).
The science thing, as well as being a compassionate human being make me completely outraged about the fact that refugees will not receive an influenza vaccine. #Influenza#trumpwillkillusall#ETTD
Flu is nothing to fool around with! In 1918 an influenza pandemic killed at least 50 million people (3% of the world's population)! It infected 500 million people including people in remote areas like the arctic. #Influenza#trumpwillkillusall#ETTD cdc.gov/flu/pandemic-r…
Hi-we are going to see lots of disinformation over the next 18 months. It is devised to get an emotional reaction, enrage is, drain our energy, drain our hope
Yes it’s easy to believe the worst since the GOP has taken us to new lows, but when you see something pitting one Dem candidate against another, claiming the powers that be are suppressing a certain candidates favor of another, be suspicious
Take a deep breath and fact check! @snopes@ushadrons are good places to start. Also follow good peopl on Twitter like @DemWrite@axidentaliberal who write fact based posts based on law and reality
Given the discussion at CPAC and the attacks against the Dem candidates and Congress I think its important that everyone know the definition of economic systems vs Government systems.
Though of course there is some overlap in the systems and some Government systems lend themselves more naturally to some economic systems they are different.
In simple terms, an economic system involves how production, resource allocation and goods and services are distributed. The main types are Capitalism, Socialism and Communism.
Dear @senatemajldr and @SenateGOP -Yesterday I sent you a list of your responsibilities as outlined by the US #Constitution -it is obvious you are not living up to those. Today, I want to remind you and everyone in the #Resistance about the history of the #Senate
Aaron Burr, VP once said "This House is a sanctuary; a citadel of law, of order, and of liberty; and it is here–in this exalted refuge; here if anywhere, will resistance be made to the storms of political phrensy and the silent arts of corruption."@senateGOP@senatemajldr
Can any of you say that is still true? Look in the mirror...when have you stood for something other than the corruption in the WH? When have you stood for anything besides "political phrensy"? @SenateGOP@senatemajldr
