Lithuania is a unique case: wanting to lead an Eastern group of states in the EU, not wanting to be left behind the Western states

In Slovenia, the push towards becoming part of core Europe has been until recently the core driver of the government's EU policy

In Sweden meanwhile, the preference is that major EU policy decisions be made by as many Member States as possible, while only a minority support accession, as explained by @UISweden's Gunilla Herolf
