Booking: the national immunisation booking service will not link to GP systems. GP Hubs (in PCNs) will support remote booking, patient direct booking and GPConnect booking (for mixed economies). 2/8
Vac entry: SystmOne is ready to record vacs, procedure codes in place, consent recording, bar code reading of batch number and expiry date. 3/8
Data out: SystmOne is ready to send Covid vac data out to NHS Digital, an enhancement of the Flu vac flow that is underway now. This will ensure vacs get back to NIMS and the registered GP (via NHSD). 4/8
Data in: SystmOne is already receiving FHIR structured flu vac messages from Pinnacle and Sonar (1M+ so far) that will also support Covid vac. These (from Monday) will file automatically without user intervention creating a structured data entry and triggering SCR upload... 5/8
... Same mechanism is planned for the feed from NIMS to NHS D to GP suppliers. De-duplication should happen at NHS D.
Process: vac templates, protocols to automate process will be developed once the requirements are known. 6/8
NIMS lookup: SystmOne is ready to link to the NIMS API for current vaccination status checking for the patient, this is not yet available to us to code to. 7/8
Many areas have enquired about having SystmOne community units for vac recording. These will be available without charge if needed. ODS code will be required for data flows.
Available for PCNs.... 8/8

Summary:
offsite working,
record sharing,
new Airmid app and
