Current state of play as I understand it for #covidvacrecording and #GPsystems: (longish thread about @TPP_SystmOne) @Masood_Online @NHSX @NHSDigital
As @Sealdiver says, Pinnacle and Sonar for vac entry, except in HJIS where SystmOne will be used. 1/8
Booking: the national immunisation booking service will not link to GP systems. GP Hubs (in PCNs) will support remote booking, patient direct booking and GPConnect booking (for mixed economies). 2/8
Vac entry: SystmOne is ready to record vacs, procedure codes in place, consent recording, bar code reading of batch number and expiry date. 3/8
Data out: SystmOne is ready to send Covid vac data out to NHS Digital, an enhancement of the Flu vac flow that is underway now. This will ensure vacs get back to NIMS and the registered GP (via NHSD). 4/8
Data in: SystmOne is already receiving FHIR structured flu vac messages from Pinnacle and Sonar (1M+ so far) that will also support Covid vac. These (from Monday) will file automatically without user intervention creating a structured data entry and triggering SCR upload... 5/8
... Same mechanism is planned for the feed from NIMS to NHS D to GP suppliers. De-duplication should happen at NHS D.
Process: vac templates, protocols to automate process will be developed once the requirements are known. 6/8
NIMS lookup: SystmOne is ready to link to the NIMS API for current vaccination status checking for the patient, this is not yet available to us to code to. 7/8
Many areas have enquired about having SystmOne community units for vac recording. These will be available without charge if needed. ODS code will be required for data flows.
Available for PCNs.... 8/8

Q: “From the list of patients in my practice, we are left wondering why many patients are on the list. We can see the “free text” against the code, but in many cases it does not give an actual reason. Also, it seems quite a number of patients have been missed from the list ...
From the letter, I understand that Part 2 of the process was to extract primary care data centrally. IT WOULD BE ENORMOUSLY HELPFUL IF WE COULD BE DIRECTED TO A CLINICAL REPORT WITHIN TPP SYSTMONE that we could then use to understand why the patient is on the SPL ...

@TPP_SystmOne have created a practice register for those at very high risk of #COVIDー19 from a list supplied by @NHSDigital
There is a “High Risk” status alert visible when the record is retrieved with an explanatory tool tip
There is a system wide report that lists the patients. Good starting point for directed communication through the @AirmidUK app.

This thread lists some features of @TPP_SystmOne that supports #covid-19 preparedness.
Summary:
offsite working,
record sharing,
new Airmid app and
EPRCore.
1. company actions to minimise possibility of service interruption - see separate thread that I'll post tomorrow
2. ensure @TPP_SystmOne access wherever it is needed. Most users know that #S1 can be used mobile and at home. Many CCGs/CSUs offer HSCN access solutions or remote desktop access - so maximise preparation for home working using #S1. No complex install.
if you are considering how non GP staff are going to support your provision from home get @TPP_SystmOne installed and connected for them.
