Went to the anti-mask protest today. Trump flags, Proud Boys, parents using their children as props. At least three journalists I know were harassed or assaulted here. Police did not enforce anything, nor could they really. #yyc 
Two children, maybe 12 years old, were yelling at us and saying "fake news" and calling us pedophiles. Imagine how brainwashed those poor kids must be?
At one point, a protestor attempted to stuff his propaganda in my pocket. I ignored him. He then directed his friend, who has a three percenter patch on his vest, to take photos of me.
In the only incident of enforcement I did see, police ticketed this man -- note the acronym ACAB on his fingers -- for getting into a verbal argument with some of the more hardline protestors.
Something I found interesting is how none of the political ire is directed towards the provincial government, who have introduced the vast majority of rules here.
