The #Anglosphere, in the 21st century.

It all goes back to the British Empire. It set up colonies, it set global markets rules, and it assumed itself king of this system forever. But...

...now Anglo exceptionalism faces an existential crisis.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglosphe… Image
Think about it, the UK set up these colonies. But any colony in Asia (e.g. Australia) is dependent on Asia, period.

There's no way around geography. Australia is in China's orbit. But how can the white-culture superiority complex ever psychologically deal with dependency? /2
Think about it some more, the US set up this financial & trade system. But whatever country becomes the biggest economy, all other countries are dependent on it.

But how can the while-culture superiority complex deal with a yellow-culture taking over THEIR "free market"? /3
If you really understand this deep psychological/culture superiority complex in the Anglsophere, especially with Americans...

...the future becomes quite disturbing to think about.

What solution is there? /4
Cmon, they are NOT going to stop.

There are so many similarities with Nazi Germany and their "Aryan race" mythology. The Anglosphere KNOWS it is superior to "savages," deep down better, and thus any outcompetition by Asians must have been cheating (e.g. "you stole our IP"). /5
If the Anglosphere eventually gets beat, they'll just get angrier, build up another army (as Germany did) and attack again.

Eventually the world had to invade Germany, divide it up, and socially engineering them for generations to behave as normal civilized people. /6
The Anglosphere, in a table...

The 5 core countries only make up 6% of the world's population, control 20% of global GDP, and are responsible for 45% of military spending.

Their oversized economic share comes from military strength to seize it, and enforce "free markets." /7 Image
Thanks for reading. Think I'll switch from using "white supremacy" (a term the system itself uses as propaganda), to "Anglosphere supremacy."

This is more accurate; less racial. 8/8

A helpful graphic—the #Anglosphere & its vassal states...
#Anglosphere vs the world—was as big in the 1970s as it is today...

Here Nixon openly talks about concealing it, by calling it “defense” instead of the Anglos ganging up on China to force them into the (white) “family of nations.” Image
The imperialist Anglosphere vs the World—here we see nothing has changed, the colonies of Britain still support controlling their non-white neocolonial assets (HK). This map is seen over and over, for hundreds of years, and is the 21st century conflict. [map via @qiaocollective] Image

This is it—the core social problem of the Anglosphere this century—there is a deep cultural attitude in the colonies, who still see themselves as superior rulers of the world.
Other civilizations don’t exist, in the mind of the West. Or at least they shouldn’t exist.

All the convoluted reasons given by them for why they hate China, are really just rage that a different civilization still exists.

Yes, the bigotry goes that deep. /2
Check the actual definition of this word, which Westerners often use incorrectly (“racist”). This is the West, in a word...

BIGOTED: having or revealing an obstinate belief in the *superiority* of one’s own opinions and prejudiced *intolerance* of the opinions of others. /3

POST-TRUTH ERA—WHY WEST, NOT EAST?

Q: How is it that America finds itself ripped apart by postmodernism (i.e. subjectivism / post-truth era), yet East Asia remains sanely grounded in reality?

Cc: @SRCHicks @ConceptualJames @jordanbpeterson @BryanVanNorden @StatesWarring
Background: public intellectuals in the West have been addressing postmodernism (Stephen Hicks, Jordan Peterson, James Lindsay, etc), yet they find themselves going over the same tired old philosophic ground and not really getting to root cause. /2
Apparently it hasn’t yet occurred to them that Western thinking might not be able to solve this Western problem, if it was that thinking itself which created the problem. 💡/3

BREAKING THRU THE ILLUSION OF DEMOCRACY
[US: #Democracy or #CorporateDictatorship?]

On the topic of American democracy being fake, let’s try to remove our minds from decades of state/corporate propaganda and think objectively for a moment...
• DIRECT DEMOCRACY: The U.S. is *not* a direct democracy—at the federal level the people do not get a direct vote on the actions of the state. And at the local level, any choices that do appear are quite limited and rigged. 2/18
• REPRESENTATIVE DEMOCRACY: The U.S. is *not* a representative democracy either—the “representatives” are not the people's, they are the representatives of corporations and entrenched state organizations. These institutions have a bigger carrot/stick than voters. 3/18

We need to differentiate between the “communist” Chinese government (which is conservative, pragmatic, realistic)...

...and Western Marxists (which are hyper-progressivist, idealistic, post-reality).

Not the same. Almost opposites? #RectificationOfNames
2/ The Western left/right love to conflate these...

The far left treat China as their holy grail of leftism, while the Breitbart goons decry "leftist China."

But China is NOT the West, and does not map to Western thought (ideologies).
3/ Conservatism, pragmatism, and a deep grounding in reality is foundational to the Chinese thought lineage beginning w/ the Dao De Jing. It then becomes hyper-pragmatic, hundreds of years later, with Han Fei's Legalism.

This contrasts starkly with idealistic Western leftism...

The American “social justice” cancel cult operates outside the law with trial-by-media.

But it’s not even a trial, because only one side is “allowed” to argue their case! If you do anyhow, you are “supporting XYZ alleged crime,” which obviously begs the question.
2/ Begging the question, for those who don’t know, is a logical fallacy in which an argument assumes its own conclusion (circular reasoning).

But postmodernism actually denies that reason is real!! It’s “a tool of the oppressor,” “everything is subjective,” etc. #CrazyTown
3/ Putting this all together...

We now have a Western cult that is obsessed with “identity” (race/gender), operates outside of the law, is authoritarian allowing no other viewpoints, and flat out denies reason/reality as being real.

Yeah, this is totally normal. 😬

Mengzi (孟子 pronounced “Mung-za”), aka Mencius, was born 372 BC, 180 years after Confucius. What was his point, and contribution to Confucianism? After going thru his writings for the last month here are my thoughts…
#Mengzi #Mencius #Confucianism
2/ On the problem of ordering society, to avoid barbarism and collapses—Confucius pioneered the pragmatic system of 1) regular social rituals with proper form (禮), and 2) cultivation of one's humanity (仁). Confucius was mostly silent on humans’ core nature (important).
3/ So what did Mengzi add to Confucianism which was not already there? Not so much, yet something…

Mengzi made one big claim; that human nature is originally “good.” He also provided evidence for this claim. In this way he's seen as an idealist, yet orthodox, Confucianist.
