November's full moon is the Beaver Moon, so named because this is around the time beavers complete their lodges. Also, it was prime trapping season.
November's full moon is also sometimes called the Frost Moon, the Freezing Moon, or the Digging (or Scratching) Moon (think squirrels and such searching for nuts this time of year)
There is no available evidence that the full Beaver Moon is connected to some sort of castorcanthropy, but that's what werebeavers would WANT us to believe
So jic you should totally watch out for werebeavers tonight
Stay tuned for next month's full Cold Moon.
The last full moon of this godforsaken year, which will rise on Dec. 29, is also called the Long Nights Moon because it shines during the “longest” nights of the year, near the winter solstice.
So look out for chilly, tired werewolves.
