True story. A sizeable number of these actual customers (some of them mine as well) from this slide would look at you quizzically if you asked them about their data lakes. (@awscloud, take note!)

EMR for EKS is awesome, no joke. A lot of EMR customers (trapped there based upon Google's MapReduce prank years ago) have large, static environments. This is poised to add much-needed flexibility.
