The Supreme Court meanwhike granted bail to Goswami which was extended till the high court proceedings are disposed off.

Ponda: In the meantime, leave may be granted to amend the petition to add certain grounds.

I would love to argue, but Mr. Salve wants to argue before your lordships.

Justice Shinde: We understand, we have senior advocates, senior citizens who cannot appear physically. So we will list the matter in the next week through VC.

Ponda requests for matter to be kept in the next week high on board.

Justice Shinde: Mr. Ponda, when we passed the interim order, you had told us, you were grateful for a hearing but we were criticized for sitting on a Saturday. I have received more than 500 messages criticising for sitting on Saturday

Justice Shinde: So we have stopped putting anything.high on board, or low on board. Matter will come up.

And we will hear everyone. We alway say, the lawyer will get tired arguing, but we won't get gired hearing. That will never be a grievance that we do not hear.

Ponda: Yes milord, order in my favour or not, I meant it. It was a patient hearing.

Justice Shinde: So we have recorded that on request of Mr.Ponda, the matter will be listed for hearing on December 16.

And leave has been granted to amend the petition.

And all replies can be filed till then.

Hearing ends. Matter will be heard through VC on December 16, 2020.

Chandrachud relied upon judgments of US Courts to submit that when similar statments against the government were made, a US court took a stand that the statement needs to be rectified and not arrested.

His anticipatory bail application will be heard tomorrow.

Due to paucity of time, the court could not hear the app lication for anticipatory bail today.

However Adv. Niranjan Mundargi expressed his apprehension that Sundaram may be arrested in a similar manner as Vikas Khanchandani, CEO, Republic TV.

Court expressed its disappointment at the conduct of Mumbai Police.

Court: what was the urgency to arrest him like this a day before, when the application was subjudice?

The court was informed that the application was served on the state on Thursday.

[Palarivattom Flyover - BREAKING] Kerala High Court has dismissed the bail application moved by former Kerala Public Works Department Minister V.K. Ebrahim Kunju in respect of his arrest for alleged involvement in the Palarivattom Flyover graft.

The construction of the flyover came under the scanner after the flyover was over found unsafe for commute. Ebrahim Kunju was at the helm of the PWD during the project’s completion, and was arrested by the Vigilance department, citing his probable involvement in corruption.

Adv. Sharif Sheikh and Adv. Pasbola arguing for Swamy submitted to the court that huge amount of data was collected from him, yet the amount of data cloned and provided to him was only 8 TB.

NIA opposed the application.

Special PP, Prakash Shetty: Whatever is relevant from the data we have taken from them we have given a copy to them.

Entire data has not been taken, only what is relevant is being taken.
