Recently in Kyiv, right-wing nationalists protested the Ukrainian president Zelenskiy by staging a mock funeral for "justice." Far-right orgs like National Corps, Democratic Axe, and C14's Society of the Future participated. This is a #thread about the girl with the blindfold. 
Olya Sydii from Lviv is the information and propaganda officer for the OUN-B's Youth Nationalist Congress (MNK), pictured here with int'l OUN-B leader Stefan Romaniw (🇦🇺) at Stepan Bandera's grave in Munich last year for the 50th anniversary of his death. Likely an OUN-B member.
As I wrote in this recent article for @DefendingHistor, from 2016-19, the OUN-B's militant, anti-Semitic MNK was a member of the western (including USAID)-funded Reanimation Package of Reforms Coalition. During this time, some doors opened for Sydii. defendinghistory.com/is-usaid-still…
MNK's Olya Sydii spent part of 2017-18 in the US thanks to the State Department's FLEX (Foreign Leadership Exchange) Program, during which time she met Chris Anderson, deputy to then-Special Envoy for Ukraine Kurt Volker, and took these propaganda pics in DC: "Ukraine Above All!"
In November 2017, likely in conjunction with the FLEX program, Sydii uploaded a "presentation about my home country for International Educational Week" to her Youtube account, which featured this explanatory image about the Blood & Soil meaning behind the red & black OUN-UPA flag
Olya Sydii's Youtube account also includes this video () of the MNK's annually performed, anti-Semitic "Rebel Vertep" (Ukrainian Insurgent Army-themed Christmas play) featuring an MNK member in "Jewface." English subtitles here:
The MNK's "Free People," another OUN-B front, has been +/- the vanguard of the formal leadership of the right-wing so-called "Capitulation Resistance Movement" / "Movement to Resist Capitulation" (ROK). But the far-right has in large part powered the anti-"capitulation" protests.
A recent minor example of MNK/Free People leadership of the ROK is MNK members exclusively modeling ROK face masks, including Olya Sydii, who appears to play a role in managing ROK social media (evidenced by her filming ROK stories on FB)
About a month after last year's launch of the ROK, Sydii became a member of the Youth Club of the Fukuyama Democracy Frontline Center, also set up in 2019, and completed their training program in Tbilisi. She was apparently chosen after submitting a TEDx video about democracy.
