#Covid_19 #ICUbeds

@CMODelhi @LtGovDelhi
Petition is before Justice Navin Chawla.
We have filed affidavit and decision of December 11 is filed : ASG Sanjay Jain for Delhi Govt.
Decision is that 10 days after, 20-21st, a review would be taken. Patients who get #Covid_19, requirement of ICU arises after some time: ASG Jain
It is when moderate patients become critical. Environmental conditions is critical and it is wedding season.. this is something we cannot predict : Jain
Numbers are fluctuating on daily basis. Realistic assessment can be done on thr weekend: Jain
Court may keep it for final disposal around 22-23. A spiral effect of wedding is there.. a realistic assessment can be undertaken in some time: Jain
Whenever it is someone else's property, you issue a Jahangiri farmaan : Senior Adv Maninder Singh for Petitioner.
The court gave indulgence and granted two adjournments.. I have no problem but unless court hears the matter, it will keep getting such explanations. Why can't State create its own infrastructure: Singh
In the name of #Covid_19 , you are virtually nationalizing everything: Singh
We are asking for the earliest.. please hear us and decide it. Can it be argued that because patients prefer private hospitals, we will continue the nationalization. Patients are not preferring govt hospitals. Non COVID patients have no beds : Singh
Court suggests listing it in January.

Singh opposes, saying he would take only 30-60 mins to finish is arguments and the court may form a view.
Court begins dictating the order.
It was decided that for the present, the same arrangement be continued and the issue would be revisited for reconsideration in 10 days. Further consideration is to happen on 20th Dec: Court
Petitoner submits that the petiton be heard on merit: Court
Delhi govt shall place the outcome of further consideration on an affidavit: Court

Court proceeds to adjourn the matter.

Matter to be heard next on December 23 at 3.30 pm.
Hearing ends.
