Any R wizards out there? Iโm stuck on what *should* be a easy step: writing the code to export the console output to an Excel file.
Hereโs a pic of the code Iโve written so far
1/
The console output looks like this....
2/
Iโm trying to figure out how to write the code to create and export a data frame with hashtags in one column and the number of times each hashtag appears in the column next to it.
3/
This should be *really* easy to do but after spending 6 hours cleaning this dataset, my brain has turned to mush.
Also, Iโm not great at coding. ๐
4/
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide. Iโd be happy to acknowledge you in the manuscript! ๐

After completing a comprehensive analysis of four years of tweets from 44 of the top 50 schools of nursing, I have some advice for schools of nursing:
1/
Use hashtags that other people are using, too.
~90% of the hashtags used by 44 schools of nursing between 9/2018 and 12/2020 were used ten or fewer times across 57,306 tweets.
Around ~50% were used only ONCE.
2/
The vast majority of hashtags used by top-ranked schools of nursing are about..... {drumroll, please}.......
For the second time this week, a nurse has asked me whether the term LGBTQ+ should be replaced by the phrase โsexual and gender minoritiesโ in nursing texts.
1/
In both instances, it was a heterosexual, cisgender nurse leader asking me.
2/
Part of why this question keeps coming up is because NIH uses the term โsexual and gender minorities.โ

I never thought much about breast cancer when I was younger.
My mom died of ovarian cancer when she was 52.
My grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer but she was old and had Alzheimerโs. I wasnโt worried.

But then in 2010, my first cousin once removed - also a college professor, coincidentally - died of metastatic breast cancer. Melanie was 44 years old. I was 38 at the time.

Early that year, Iโd had a minor scare: a mammogram and ultrasound of a teeny tiny but palpable lump had been flagged as concerning. I had a stereotactic biopsy. All good.
Months later, another lump, another round of tests. All good.
Emerson has done more that 20K tests and has had only 18 positives. In a large, densely-populated city. With high-rise dorms. emerson.edu/one-emerson/daโฆ
If @UVA tested every student taking classes on Grounds, every week, I suspect risk behaviors would decrease.
The wastewater testing and random testing is great, but I suspect mandatory weekly testing would make individual students feel a greater sense of urgency to avoid behaviors that could expose them to COVID-19.
If youโre planning to vote for Trump because you like his position on [guns, taxes, abortion, whatever], please understand that your vote will indicate you also like his position on white supremacy.
A white supremacist you like better than Biden is still a white supremacist.
Imagine supporting a convicted pedophile for your local school board because you like their vision for education reform.
Imagine urging a local restaurant to hire a head chef who has said repeatedly that they like pissing in customersโ food โ all because you like their plans for lowering prices.
