@garrett_felber is the author of THOSE WHO KNOW DON'T SAY from @uncpressblog, a history of the Nation of Islam that was shortlisted for the 2020 Museum of African American History Stone Book Award.
Personnel matters are often more complicated than first meets the eye, but the public face of this story is a shameful one for Ole Miss. It's tough to see this as anything other than a replay of the constructive dismissal of Bill Murphy for defending Brown v Bd of Education.
