Come on, all. Every time people get on Trump’s talking points we lose. He’s done this over & over. If this bill is not signed (it won’t be unless we all get wise to what he’s doing) all that will happen is people will die of starvation. You can’t retroactively restore lives 1/6

Look at the last sentence. The “pork” is his own proposals. He’s not going to sign a bill w/ $2k checks his party opposes. It’s a false choice. He wants to shut down the gov’t, make the transition impossible, & keep people so desperate we’ll take anything. Agent 99 says, 🤦‍♀️ 2/6

“Foreign aid” is less than 1% of the budget, massively bipartisan, & the amounts are exactly what his administration asked for. It goes to stopping the spread of disease. Maybe a good idea all things considered! The aid helps Americans and protects the freedoms we enjoy. 3/6

While falsely claiming he’s for $2k he’s held up actual $600 checks/person. 4 months EMERGENCY relief - tens of Ms of jobs, homes, healthcare & strength to fight for more in the new year. His plan is to stop all of it - let’s recognize the plan and run our play, not his 4/6

So much at stake for tens of millions of Americans. 17 M children are going hungry. Today 12 M lose UI. Mon the gov’t shuts down, job loss for gov’t workers cutting our SSI checks, Thurs 30-40 M lose their homes. Emergency relief gives us hope & strength to fight for more. 5/6

The play is NOT $600 vs $2000. It’s UI, UI $300/wk plus up, rental assistance, jobs, security, stability & bridge to more - or ZERO.
