Basic Mathematics of Blood Pressure.

Blood Pressure = CO x PR

CO = Cardiac Output.
PR = Peripheral Resistance.

CO = HR x SV

HR = Heart Rate.
SV = Stroke Volume.

Definition next thread.

#BetterTogether
Cardiac Output (CO) is the amount of blood pumped out of the heart in a minute.

Peripheral Resistance (PR) is resistance of arteries to blood flow pumped from the heart.

If arteries constrict, there is higher resistance. If they relax, there is reduced resistance.

More next...
CO = SV x HR

Stroke Volume (SV) is the amount of blood pumped from the heart in a beat.

Heart Rate (HR) is the number of heartbeats per minute.

More next...
Therefore

Blood Pressure = CO x PR

It therefore implies that the higher the CO, the higher the blood pressure. Eg, when anxious.

But commonly, the higher the PR, then the higher the blood pressure.

What can cause higher PR?

Next...
Higher Peripheral Resistance:

- Narrow arteries. Inflammed arteries from sugar and seed oils.

As simple as that, your BP begins to rise.

The length of your vessels can also raise PR, especially when you become obese, vessels increase in size to feed adipose tissues.
Is fasting important in the management of high blood pressure?

Yes.

Why?

1. Reduces inflammation in the narrowed arteries.

2. 'Melts' plaque in narrowed arteries.

3. Reduces adiposity hence shortens blood vessels.

So, FAST. Daily. - and lift weights.

Pavlov Classical Conditioning:

You have conditioned yourself that you MUST eat at breakfast, lunch & supper.

Once clock hits those times, your stomach releases gastric acid in anticipation of food.

Guys with ulcers suffer this.

IF & OMAD will reverse this conditioning.
Just the mere thought, taste or smell of food stimulates the output of gastrin hormone which leads to the production of gastric acid.

Your stomach had therefore been conditioned to produce the acid at breakfast, lunch and supper or anytime you see or smell food.
If you embrace IF and OMAD,

Your stomach will get used to the strict hours - feeding window.

The stomach won't carelessly release the acid.

People nowadays serve the stomach.

However, train your stomach to serve you.

About Othuol.

I'll be BLUNT:

Same guys attacking artists for 'abandoning' Othuol, are the same guys who abandon their parents and siblings.

Artists brought Othuol to us, nurtured him, paid his bills and will give him a beffiting send off.

Othuol messed himself up.
Othuol was diagnosed with Pulmonary TB.

He failed to adhere to treatment and got a relapse. - An extra-pulmonary TB.

He then slid into alcoholism, - and we all know that alcohol and TB drugs is a lethal combination.

Then organ failure.

All this time, artists paid his bills.
Othuol was in denial.

He refused to accept that you can be a celebrity and be broke.

- You can be a celebrity but still get a chronic illness like TB.

Nothing wrong here. We are human beings not immortals.

He refused to accept his demons.- They devoured him to death.

He swallowed the drugs religiously but after 1 month, the symptoms escalated.

+ Bloating.

+ Farting.

But now, difficulty in passing stool become another concern.

So, he decided to go to a popular private hospital in Eldoret, Kenya.

#MenMonday
In that first class private hospital, he met a surgeon who listened to his story.

An examination of his anal area was done and a quick diagnosis of ANAL FISSURE was made.

Simon wondered why he had to go to the theatre so abruptly yet he was just fine.
